Review (Tips and Techniques) Lesson 1( how to memorize Vocabulary)

Magtatagalog na po ako kase naubos na ang lakas ko sa kaka english hehehe salamat sa pag intindi sa english kong mali mali. Nandito na hinihintay ang Lesson 1. marami akong nabasa about sa Vocabs. may naghahanap ng tips pano mabilis makapag memorize ng vocabs. at yung iba post nila. may nabasa ako "Boss ilang araw na po ako nag study ng vocabs pero parang di pumapasok sa utak ko ano po ba ang techniques". Yan yung usually na nababasa ko sa group. Ngayon mag share ako ng Techniques ko pano ako mag memorize ng Vocabs. binilang ko lahat ng effective na way para makapag memorize at mga tips na gagawin. may tatlo akong nagawa.

1. Una Flash Card. pinaka basic po. ang gagawin nyo lang po ay gagawa kayo ng flashcard gamit carton ng sigarilyo pwede hingin sa tindahan or bilhin kayo na bahala sa deskarte nyo.  lagyan nyo ng sinulid or kahit anong bagay na maghahawak sa flash card. ang gawin nyo yung sa textbook 1 na na download nyo sa likod may mga vocabs dun na nakalagay simula sa ㄱ hangang sa  ㅎ isusulat nyo yun sa harapam ang 한글 tapos sa likod naman ang meaning ng vocabs. (marami rami rin yun) ganito gawin nyo alam ko may mga alam na rin kayo basic na vocabs. ang unahin nyo nalang isulat is yung mga di nyo pa alam na words. kahit 10 vocabs taga araw yung e memorize mo. okay na yun atleast may  na dagdag na vocabs sayo. kung e compute mo lahat. 10 vocabs x 30 days may 300 vocabs ka. 300 vocabs per month x hanggang sa mag exam ilalagay nating march start na tayo next month may 3 months na paghahanda ka. or 2 and half. not bad na. 900 vocabs dala mo pag exam.  pero ganito ang pinaka petmalu what if masipag ka gagawin mong 100 vocabs per day?  compute mo lahat di ba maraming vocabs ang madadala mo sa exam so for sure. papasa ka. maglalagay ako ng video sa baba pano nila ginawa ang flashcard nila. at pano sila nag review gamit nito.

(note: yang talktomeinkorean din marami rin yang na turo sakin kung kaya nyo e singit sa review nyo singit nyo  kase nakaka dagdag din to sa listening skill nyo. e singit nyo lang pag napapagod kayo pang pawala  stress yung mga lessons nila makinig ka lang ng Podcast nila)

(Tips: some times may mga tao na di gumagana sa kanila ang techniques na to. so ang Tips ko po wag nyo pilitin sarili nyo kase masasayang ang oras. kase na try ko na yun may mga ibat ibang style ako ginamit na technique sa pag review pero sometimes mapapansin ko parang di sya nakakatulong sakin. and napapagod lang ako. nasasayang din oras ko kaya ginawa ko move ako sa ibang techniques. Ung sample ng technique na ginawa ko is yung isusulat mo yung word in hanguel tapos ung meaning nito. hehehe nagka paltos  na  daliri ko napagod na nasayang pa oras ko. kaya ginawa ko pumunta ako sa ibang techniques. sa akin di to gumagana pero try nyo muna baka. itong techniques na ginawa ko gagana sayo).

2. Quiz sa ganitong paraan dalawa ang ma build mo yung Writing skills mo at yung madagdagan yung Vocabs mo. 1 to 10 lang na quiz  or depende sayo kung kaya mo mag 20 para mas marami ang matutunan mo. gagawin mo lang is kukuha ka ng dalwang papel. ung unang papel e number mo ng 1 to 10 pababa.  tapos yung isa naman is 10 pa baba. sa unang papel isusulang mo ang words na gusto mong matutunan  tapos sa pangalawa yung meaning ng word.  kunwari 개 nilagay mo sa unang papel mo sa number 1. dun sa ikalawang papel isulat mo sa 1 yung word na dog tapos lagyan mo ng mga words yung ibang natirang number 2-10. pag nasulat mo na. 5 mins. memorize mo yun. time mo sarili mo. after 5 min. yung pangalawang papel mo ilagay mo sa likod ng unang papel dapat di makita yung nakasulat sa likod. para sure na di mo na copy. then sagotan mo yung 10. pag natapos na e check mo dahan dahan mo e push ang unag papel pataas upang makita yung number 1 na sagot sa pangalawang papel. at check nyo kung tama kayo. gawin mo to sa lahat ng natitirang number 2-10. wag malungkot kung mali mali kayo mas okay po yung namamali kayo. para next time pagbubutihan nyo na. and pag nakita mo na yung word na yun tatawanan mo nalang. at sasabihin mong "ooooppss ikaw nanaman  sa pagkakataon na to di mo na ako maloloko. alam ko na kung anong pangalan mo" hehehe uu ganyan ako mag study parang baliw kinakausap ko na yung papel. heheh sign po yan na mataas motivation mo na makapasa and good thing po yun para sayo. kase sa huli ikaw rin ang kukuha ng premyo sa pinaghirapan nyo.

3 Pag di gumana sa inyo yung technique na 1 and 2 i think pareho tayo na di magaling sa ganyan hehehe kase yung last na techniques ang nakatulong sakin ng marami. sana sa inyo din. ang last techniques natin is Mnemonics. eto po yung bubuo ka ng isang kwento tapos gagawmitin mo yung words tapos lagyan mo ng magkasingtunog gamit sa own dialect nyo. sample ko 신호등 ang ginawa ko sa word na to is ginamitan ko xa ng Ilonggo na word di ba makikita mo ang traffic light my green tapos tao? ginamit ko yung 신호 as sino di ba magka tunog? topos yung 등 is tawag sa lalaki. pag tinatawag mo kase sa bisaya and ilonggo na lumaki nakasalamuha ang mga bisaya is dong at day. yung day po babae. so ginawa namin nung nag group study kami. ganimit yung patanong sino yung lalake. na tinutoro yung traffic light.  hehehe try no rin sa inyo. yan lang po mga techniques na ginawa ko.comment po kayo kung aling techniques ang nakatulong sa inyo. salamat po. post po ako ng video sa babae. para magka idea ko. sa video na yan enhance ang pag memorize using image.

Lesson 3 받침 Patchim and Reading Sentence

First of all i want to congratulate you all for reaching Lesson 3 in our class. Last lesson you learn the 14 lenis and aspiration and 5 fortis consonants for a total of 19 consonants in Hanguel. Today you will learn tha 받침 patchim and Reading Sentence.

받침 also called as Final consonants. so dont be confused if you use other textbook. 받침 has different way of pronouncing.
It consist of 7 different ways of pronouncing all final consonants.

as you see in the picture the  the first example characters ㄱ,ㄲ,ㅋ will have a value of [-k] if you found that character bottom other character. so if you read and pronounce this words 악,앆,앜 it will sound the same it will be (ak) not (ag). Next 2nd example character will be ㄴit will have a value of [-n] so if you read the example you will read it as (an).Then in the 3rd example characters will be  ㄷ, ㅌ, ㅅ, ㅆ, ㅈ, ㅊ, ㅎ all of this characters will have a one value [-t] if you found this character at the bottom of other character as the picture shows so if you read the example you will read it as (at). In the 4th example character ㄹ it will have a value of [-l] if you found it in the bottom of the  other character so if you read example you will read it as  (al). In ㅁ will have a value of  [-m] so if you read the example you will read it as (am). And the next characters is ㅂ, ㅍ its value is [-p] so if you read the example you will read it as (ap) and not as (ab). The last character will be ㅇ its value is [-ng] and if you read the last example you will read it as (ang). As you notice we apply our techniques here in reading. Did you remember last lesson? if you memorize the names of the consonants you will not be having a hard time in reading. lets give you an example. we will have the first example GiyeoK,Sang Giyeok and KiyeoK. as you notice the last letters of the names of the characters is the same of its value if you found the character is in the bottom of other characters?. you can do the other samples to check if its true. so guys congrats in having this lesson and now we have a add lesson. about how those character is being build. sorry for that term. i use Build cause making a Hanguel word is like Building a Blocks. The characters is the Block. heres the example ways on how they are Build. If you search it in the other textbook it is called as Syllabic Pattern and this Patterns consist of  5 patterns.

Now we will procede in next Last Topic the Reading Sentence after this lesson you will learn how to read any korean sentence but dont force your self to understand all you read cause it may take time to understand the sentence. some of the Students have a hard time to understand what they are reading in my case i didnt force my self to understand this converstion of two people 가: 사무실이 어디입니까?
나: 저기입니다 cause i know in my self that i need to have more reference to  understand that.but dont worry as you progress you will learn to understand what you are reading after  you already done about conjugation that will be discuss in our future lesson but now let start this topic. see the picture below.

as you see the example in the picture the  the final consonat is pronounced as linked when it meets a vowel  like this 한국어 instead of hanguk- eo if you read it by sylable it will be [한구거] and that final consonant giyeok with a value of k cause you found it in the bottom of other character it will be g and transfer next to the vowel (거) so it go sound natural. the other samples also shows how they change if they are read. 할아버지 becomes  [하라버지] ,집에 becomes [지베] and last sample 이름이 [이르미]. And now you know how to read properly. lets have an exercise.

Lesson 2b 5 fortis Consonants and Korean syllables.

Last lesson you already learned the 14 Lenis and aspiration consonants. Today you will learn the 5 fortis Consonants.
In this lesson we will discuss the 5 fortis consonants (some called it as double consonants).
Now please familiarize the 5 consonants as soon as possible i'll enclose some quiz to help you familiarize the 5 consonants.(click this link (not yet available ) to practice).

These consonants have their own name practice and familiarize its name cause it might help you to know the value of the consonant.

Korean word is compose of syllables to write a word you must know the basic way to write a word.
Korean syllables are made in 4 different manners.

(1) 모음 (vowel)                                           (예 ex.) 아, 오
(2) 자음 + 모음 (consonant + vowel)                           (예 ex.) 나, 코
(3) 모음 + 자음 (vowel + consonant)                           (예 ex.) 안, 운
(4) 자음 + 모음 + 자음 (consonant + vowel + consonant)   (예 ex.) 강, 곰

O before a vowel has no sound value. A syllable is composed in the vertical or horizontal order.
ㅏ, ㅑ, ㅓ, ㅕ, ㅣ, ㅐ, ㅒ, ㅔ, ㅖ occur on the right side of a consonant whereas ㅗ, ㅛ, ㅜ, ㅠ, ㅡ occur under the consonant.(ex: for vertical 아, 야, 어, 여, 이, 에, 예 for horizontal 오, 요, 우, 유, 으).

Lesson 2a Consonants

Last lesson you already learned the basic vowels and the double vowels. Today you will learn Consonants. The 19 consonants in Hangeul are divided into 14 Lenis and Aspiration and 5 Fortes. Thats why we will divide our lesson in two (Lesson 2a and Lesson 2b). In this lesson we will discuss the 14 consonants (Lenis and Aspiration consonants).

The proper way to write a Vowel is you need a consonant before the vowel so it may create a sound. ㅇ+ㅏ= 아, ㅇ+ㅓ= 어 and so on. So if you read a vowel it must be written like this 아 어 야 여 이 the ㅏ, ㅑ, ㅓ, ㅕ, ㅣ, ㅐ, ㅒ, ㅔ, ㅖ occur on the right side of a consonant whereas ㅗ, ㅛ, ㅜ, ㅠ, ㅡ occur under the consonant. Introduction

Learning Hanguel The first thing we must know before learning a new language is to know the origin of it when its started and what is it. Hanguel(한글) its the korean alphabet created a long year ago to be exact 15th century by Sejong the Great. Hanguel(한글) is the official writing system of South and North Korea and for me its the most easy writing system in the world. Sejong the Great is the creator of hanguel he was the fourth king of Joseon-dynasty Korea. If you want the story of this hanguel i recommend to watch Six flying dragon a korean drama its a long episode drama but its worth it to watch. back to hanguel we will focus on familiarizing each of the alphabets of korean so we will know how to pronounce and read the korean system of writing in the next day we will start on Learning lesson by lesson. Lesson 1 and 2 we will learn the 19 consonants and 21 vowels. For Lesson 1 we will break down it in two the Lesson 1a and Lesson 1b. Lesson 1a will focus in basic Vowels each lesson will have a quiz in the end of the lesson this will help you to familiarize the letters, and the Lesson 1b we will discuss about the Double vowels.
